Categories of Membership:
The forum will categorize its members into the individual, organizational, and honorary memberships.
1) Founding Members:
The initial founding members of the Forum who have been the guiding spirit behind the concept and shape of the Forum . This membership remains restricted to the members identified and named in the initiation circular.
Membership to the Founding Members remains highly restricted and any addition to the Founding Members has to be initiated by the Convenor and approved by the 2/3rd majority of the Founding members.
The founding members shall also act as the Executive committee for the initial Duration of 18 months until such time as the Forum’s structure and activities mature towards its intended Vision & goals.

2) Individual Membership:
The membership is open to anyone as per clause 2.1 above. All applications for the membership have to be screened and approved by the Convenors of the Forum.
3) Family Membership:
The family membership allows the Primary member to add a total of upto 5 additional first degree , UAE resident relatives (Children , Parents, Spouse) and take a family membership of the Forum to enjoy the Benefits (Refer membership benefits guide for details)
4) Gold Members:
Individuals who want added recognition and want to play a further active and prominent role in the UPConnect activities and its aspirations can opt for the Gold Tier of membership that offers various additional benefits (Refer membership benefits guide for details)
5) Corporate Members:
Businesses, corporations, or organizations that support the Forum’s goals and wish to engage in its activities may join the Forum as its Corporate Members.
Corporate Members shall be entitled to privileges such as discounted sponsorship rates at events , preferential passes for all events and activities and access to UPConnect Business Network. (Refer membership benefits guide for details)

6) International Members:
Individuals who are resident outside of UAE but support the Forum’s goals and wish to engage in its activities and benefit form its network & resources may join the Forum as its Corporate Members. (Refer membership benefits guide for details)
7) Honorary Members:
Individuals who have made significant contributions to the Community or the Forum’s mission on a global scale may be invited to become the Honorary members. The Membership should be proposed by the Convenor and Approved by the Founding Members.
